Com'on, Mark... the GUI's not that bad every once in a while! :-)
bpclient -client <client name> -add | -update -max_jobs <#>
and
bpclient -client <client name> -l | -L
to check it.

You can set the max jobs per client global attribute to 1,
then increase the value for an individual client using bplclient
(or Host Properties->Clients). This is almost always preferrable
to cranking up the global value.
