Yes.  We have done successful backups and restores of HP-UX 10.20 clients to 
5.0 master server running HP-UX 11.0.  We even ran successful Oracle 8i backups 
and recoveries.  However, we left the 10.20 system at NBU 3.41.  Yep, a 3.41 
client running to a 5.0 master with no 4.5 intermediary.  The backup produces 
two "warnings" and the restore produces one, but they do complete with a "0" 
and we have verified the restored data.
