Hello all,

=20

I am currently running a Netbackup 4.5 Datacenter server with Feature
Pack 4 in Windows 2000 SP4. We have multiple operating systems,
including Solaris, Windows, Linux, and Netware. I have been asked to
look into restoring some specific files on a weekly basis from a Netware
backup onto a Windows server. I have setup the backup in Netware using
the target method. The backup works fine, and I can restore it fine to
an alternate (or the original) Netware server. But, when I try to
restore it to either an alternate Windows box or to the NBU master
server I get the following messages:

=20

15:43:40 (13646.001) TAR - TEMP:\SYS\TEMP\NETLOGON\NETLOGON.DLL

15:43:40 (13646.001) MNR - The file was renamed to the following:

15:43:40 (13646.001) UTF - C:\temp\restore\TEMP\NETLOGON\NETLOGON.DLL

15:43:40 (13646.001) WRN - error writing file:
C:\temp\restore\TEMP\NETLOGON\NETLOGON.DLL (err=3DWIN32 13: The data is
invalid. )

15:43:40 (13646.001) WRN - error writing byte: 0

15:43:40 (13646.001) WRN - wanted buffer size: 52224

=20

Does anyone have any clue as to how to make this work? Is it actually
possible to restore from Netware to a Windows master server, or even a
Windows alternate client?

=20

Hopefully someone will have done this before.

=20

Thank you in advance,

=20

Angus Jordan
