"/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/vmoprcmd -d" will show the drive status.
"bperror -media" should show when a drive goes down (not sure it always
does).
system logs should also show when a drive is DOWNED.

Hi,

we would like to get notifications from Veritas when a drive has got into
status DOWN. Is there any way that Veritas-NBU sends out those notifications
itself ? Otherwise, anyone can point me to the CLI-command that allows me to
check (e.g. via "cron") the status of the drive(s) and generate
notifications myself ?

Tia
