The first thing I would check is to see if your policy has the "Follow
NFS" or "Cross mounts" checked off. Unless you want to repeat the
backup of non-local data - you don't want them on.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Solaris OS backup - exclude list
I'm backing up a bunch of Solaris servers clustered. They all have mount
points to a Hatachi SAN for Oracle data. I'm using an exclude list but
it seems to be backing up way to much data. Netbackup 4.5 mp5 on
Solaris9 master/media server is my environment. Any ideas on what my
strategy should be for accomplishing the OS backup on these clustered
servers? Not sure if the exclude list is really working.
