I copy the db/images/<clientname> to /tmp
and then use the cat_convert utility to convert
from binary to ascii. There are times I get requests
to restore a file but the requestor isn't sure of the
path/filename or case sensitivity. I miss the ascii
for these type of requests but I like the binary
for day to day advantages. I don't mind converting and
I also feel better about copying to /tmp so as not to
mess up my catalog.

When I was using netbackup 3.4 I used to grep the images files to find
details of files backed up.
Now I'm using 4.5fp6 I have to use bpflist. But this is very slow
(taking 1 hour to list one filesystem vs 30secs to zcat a 3.4 image file).
Are there any options that will improve the speed? (I'm currently using
"bpflist -backupid zhary004_1083362635 -client zhary004 -d 01/01/1970".
Is there some better way of obtaining the raw image data? Are there
some bp.conf entries that will improve the speed?
