Subject: [Veritas-bu] automatically return expired tapes to scratch pool

Hi,
I'm running Netbackup DataCenter 4.5 on Windows 2000.

Is there a simple way to automatically transfer tapes whose backup
images have all expired to the scratch pool, rather than having to do
this manually?

Thanks in advance for your help

Best Regards

Paul

I'm in the same boat you are with this Ed, I've even been seeing vaulted
images being listed with regular images on the same tape. I totally do
not
understand how that has happened.

I thought I had a clue but 5.0 is throwing me for a loop. A recent
vault run listed the images on a single tape that really stunned me. It
was a mix of images from different volume pools from different media
servers, and some of the images should have already expired. How it
came up with that beats me...
