You could eject the tapes to the mailslot with vmchange...

vmchange -rn <robnum> -res -m <tapenum> -mt <tapetype> -e -sec 1 

Magic!

I was wondering if there is a way to script robtest to move tapes to 
locations. It's quiet a pain to move 50 plus tapes into the mailslot.
