I'd like to define and write an alternative catalog tape by changing a
scratch tape into a catalog tape.
bplabel is good at writing a data header on a tape, what creates a catalog
header?
The volume database has a tape status byte (field 28) that identifies tapes
as Data, Catalog, or HSM. How does this field get set?
