[Veritas-bu] Issues with NBU 5.0 and Broadcom Teaming Adapter

This is a known issue with Teaming and DELL's 2650's  .. Please see
below for the documented fix from veritas.  Straight from a case I
opened.  If you need more info please let me know.

We need to upgrade the NIC drivers and the teaming drivers
There is an issue with teaming  and will need to follow this procedure
 
 I have found what may be an issue if you updated the Broadcom Teaming
software.  You may want to go through Add/Remove Programs, uninstall the
Teaming software.  Then search for and delete all b57*.* and BASP*.*
files to completely remove the teaming files.  Finally, reinstall and
configure the teaming software using
ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/network/BCOM_LAN_66_W2K_A01.exe

Has anyone had problems with Broadcom teaming drivers?

At this site, we're running NBU 5.0 with Broadcom BASP Virtual Adapter
6.0.1.0 driver on a pair of Nextreme gigabit Ethernet adapters in a Dell
2650.

Client backups to tape seem to work fine, but backups to a disk staging
storage unit fail with various network-type errors. When we remove the
teaming adapter and use the standard Ethernet adapter (version 6.34.4),
things work just fine. 

Sniffing shows a lot of packet fragmentation in either case.

So we now have a way to make this work, but can't team the adapters. We
sure would like to be able to do this!

Any ideas or similar problems out there?
