I read the release docs and i should have caught the note.

Veritas called me and informed me that the BMR admin server is started by=20
inetd.conf

So i just had to kill the bmr httpd processes.

I also had to edit the bmr httpd.conf to include my winxp computer ip in=20
with the 127.0.0.1 loopback.

All in all silly me :)
