[Veritas-bu] NB45MP6 - Oracle Alternate Client Restore failed

I am not sure exactly what is causing your error. We have successfully
restored to a different client
form both Oracle RMAN and Standard. backups.
Are you restoring an RMAN backup? If so double check the steps on page
137-138 of the Netbackup for
Oracle SAG. In addition to the No.Restrictions file, You must initiate
the restore from the client you are restoring to.
The file structure on Client B must exist and be exactly the same as
client A. If this is Unix, your NB_ORA_CLIENT variable must
be set to Client A, the init.ora file must be copied to Client B and
placed in the correct directory, etc. Best to check
the SAG for details.
It it is a standard file restore, be sure you are initating it from Client
B, and you have the file structure set up the same
as on Client A.
