Kevin,
   I have seen this happen when trying to do a test recovery of an
existing tablespace/datafile that had not been taken offline (e.g.: SQL>
alter datafile <datafile name or number> offline;).  You should be able
to gather more detailed debugging information from the log of the
recovery script.

All,

We are trying to recover a RMAN 4.5 GA release netbackup image onto a
RMAN
4.5 FP3 [MP5] Client. The backups "almost" work, but we are continually
getting status 5 results from RMAN.
Is anyone successfully carrying out this recovery or are the release
REALLY
incompatable?
