vmglob has the options to change the serial number for a drive or robot.=20
use -? for syntax.

 up serial numbers

What are the correct steps to take to make sure that different hosts see=20
the same serial number for a tape drive?
=20
I.e., what is going on is if we have a drive failure, the vendor comes out =

and replaces it. Now the robotic controller/master server will see the=20
new drive correct with the new serial number.

All of the other media servers still see the old serial number, according=20
to vmglob ?b ?listall=20
=20
What are the correct steps to update this drive info on the media servers? =

One or two discrepancies is no big deal, they can still access the drive=20
and everything works, but I want to clean these up when they happen.
=20
Thanks,
Taylor
