[Veritas-bu] Point in Time restore in NBU

To do this, you have to perform a "True Image Recovery" backup. It's a
clicky-thingee in the GUI. It increases the churn & time of your client
backups as the client gathers all the info & increases the size of your
catalog info. The TIR information is kept separately with it's own
time-to-delete settings (viewable with "bpconfig -U").

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Point in Time restore in NBU
Hi,
I have a fundamental question.
I want to know if we can do a point in time restore with NBU where it
remembers what all files were in disk as of that date/backup.
I mean if a restore is done say as of two weeks ago [on a incremental backup
day] does it remember what files had been deleted
On disk after the previous full??
thanks
Bala Krishnamurthy
