Hi there,
I'd like to run a script via a cron job to eject some tapes from our
StorageTek L180.
=20
The idea of the script is that an operator will be emailed/paged that =
the overnight=20
backups are ready to be removed from the CAP.
=20
The vmchange command to eject the tapes is:
vmchange -res -multi_eject -w -verbose -rn 0 -rt tld -rh gla1bs01 -ml =
$MLIST
=20
This command asks you to empty the CAP and then press return to =
continue.
Not sure how I can handle this in a script.
If I pass a return as input to the command then the tapes will be loaded =
back
into the L180 !!!

Is there another way to automate this ?
