You use "vmchange" to change the pool of a tape.

vmchange -p <poolnumber> -m <tapenumber>

you can get the pool number from the vmpool command.

Note, you can't change the pool of a tape that has images on it.

-M

Subject: [Veritas-bu] changing volume pools

Hello all...

I'm trying to change the volume pool for multiple tapes. I've tried
vmadm, but it doesn't quite get me where I need to be. Does anyone have
a script or at least a direction to point me in?

Thanks in advance
