vmchange will change the pool a volume is associated with. Use -? for
syntax or look in Media Manager SAG.

If you want new media being introduced into the environment to
automatically go into a pool other than NetBackup (i.e. a scratch pool),
use barcode rules for this.

Hi all,

Is there a way using command line to move media
between pool? I know that I can move by running jnbSA
on the console or using CLI menu driven. I'm trying to
write a script to move new media to specific pool.
This is because everytime I run media update list by
default it will go to netbackup pool as everybody
already aware off.

Thank you in advance.

regards,
Feroz Basir
