                The  storage unit on duplications is only used to define the
destination  drives.  The source drive can be outside the STU.  Make one
drive in  your duplication STU and don't use the -mpx flag on duplications.
The -mpx  should keep down the tendency to mount multiple source tapes and
the single  destination drive should limit duplications to a serial
behavior.
