It sounds a lot like an issue that I posted to this list earlier.

My resolution has been to manage the timing of my gigabiut backup jobs so
that I don't overpower the NIC.  I haven't had a 174 for several days now
since I made the adjustment.

Strangely because 242539 does not exist and *nothing* is "referenced below"!
