Subject: [Veritas-bu] SSO with Veritas and Legato
Can anyone confirm whether or not this would work.
Current setup:
I have an L700 with 8 LTO 2 drives.
Library control is done via ACSLS
Drives 0 - 3 are being used by NBU
NBU = 1 master/media - 6 san media sharing Drives 0 - 3 via SSO plus a
bunch of network clients.
Drives 4-7 are bing used by Legato
Legato = 1 Networker server , all backups going over the network.
Proposed addition:
Allow the NBU Master server to see all 8 drive ( 0 - 7 ) as well as
attach 2 new SSO SAN media servers, which would share drives 4 - 7 and new
add network clients which would be backed up to drives 4 - 7
Drives 4 - 7 also have to be available to Legato Networker.
Am I going beyond the limits of what can be done ?
