If it's a robotic library, it should continue backups on previously written
tapes if they tapes are in the same pool and the images have the same
retention (by default, retentions aren't mixed on a single tape, this can be
changed but it's not recommended.)

Otherwise, the number of tapes initially grabbed for a backup at the start
of the job is a function of number of streams, jobs-per-client limitation, &
the multiplexing setting. Number of simultaneos streams (limited by the jobs
per client) divided by the Mux setting is the initial number of tapes loaded
(not to exceed the number of available drives, of course).

Subseqently backups jobs should be appended to the already written tapes if
they're sharing the same pool and retention period.

its a P1000 library
how can i restrict the backup to write to both tapes fully before loading
other free tapes?
