This is mostly a question about the speed of your clients more than the type
of drive.  The DLT7K will probably max out at around 8-10 MB/sec so if you
can feed it that fast on less multiplexing, you'll be better off.

A mux setting of 16 will make large restores from that set of tapes really
perform poorly, IMO.
