I'm running NBU 4.5 on solaris 8. I have a STK L-5500 silo with 10 LTO Gen
2 drives.
I also read that warning from Veritas. I personally have been tweaking all
three of those settings
and still have not had any issues doing a restore. If worst comes to
worst, there really
is only a few different numbers you can use in there so remember what they
are and
if you have to change them back for one restore, well so be it. Maybe
someone
else out there can elaborate on this some more.. I think it was a cover
their butt thing.
