I do not know if they recommend this or not. But we currently have one system
that is 7 to 10 terabytes and we do not have any issues backing it up. We
have however broken it up into a few policies because of it's size so that we
can get a full backup done in about 60 hours.

Hi all,
I am running veritas netbackup datacenter 4.5. I have read somewhere that if a
system has over 100GB of data to back up, veritas recommends that this system
have its own media server attached, is this true?

Thank You all in advance,
Cecil Hypolite
