Hi Mark,
The latest version of GDM supports both NBU and BE. So yes, you can monitor
all of your remote sites and your main center with the Global Data Manager
option. I have included a link to the GDM datasheet which will go more in
depth.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Manage Backup Exec using GDM?
Hi, I am interested in designing a solution where my remote sites will use
Backup Exec but our largest site will use Netbackup DataCentre. I would
like to be able to manage or at least view the status of the remote sites
with GDM.
Can someone tell me if this is possible? I have seen from the archives that
it is metioned as a possibility but the Netbacup Documentation does not
mention Backup Exec whre GDM is concerned. It just mentions datacentre and
business server.
Thank you, Mark
