Hi Rene,

There numerous other little gotchas to keep in mind of which I will try and
address a few network related ones here:
1) For a successful backup, the client-master-mediaserver must all be able
to communicate
2) If the client can use both interfaces to reach the master and
mediaservers you cannot be sure which it will use to do so.
3) NetBackup does allow you to force all network traffic across a single
interface using the REQUIRED_INTERFACE directive in bp.conf
4) To make all this work you will likely have to get sneaky with local
/etc/hosts file entries to cheat your way around name-to-address mappings
