Vault looks back via the date range and the number of copies for the images
in the catalog. So, no, vault will not rerun images that have already be
vaulted.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] vault 4.5 question
Hi,
We just upgraded from DC3.4 to DataCenter 4.5, with Vault extension. If
we go back 2 days in daily vault profile.. is vault intelligent enough
not to vault the previously vaulted images again ? In other words, is
there a sort of Flag anywhere, which marks an image as vaulted, so that
it should not be vaulted again ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards,
