Why not just do a cleaning?

My backups have failed with a status code of 83, unable to open media. A
check of the logs indicates that it cannot perform further backups till a
cleaning has bee done. Due to previous drive problems the drives in the
robot were just replaced. It has had one successfull test backup performed
so why should it need a cleaning after 1 backup? Does anyone know how I can
make Netbackup think a cleaning has been performed?
