Hello,

Running NBU 4.5 Master & Media, MP2 and required OS patches, HP-UX 11.0 
on an N4000, with 12 G of RAM and 6/550GHz processors.
Initially put in Veritas recommended kernel parameters, and the box was 
running only 2 Oracle instances. Everything worked fine.
Over a period of 2 months, developers configured more instances, and 
currently run 12. NetBackup jobs fail with Status 11.
No Agents - backing up instances cold. So most of them are running while 
others are shut down and are being backed up.
Tried a whole bunch of things - tuning kernel, NOSHM, running 
Measureware, etc.

1. Is anyone running 12 instances on a Master + Media server? Could you 
kindly share your kernel parameters?
2. Not sure this would be helpful, but would moving the Master off to a 
different box help? It still needs to be a Media since it has tons of data.
3. How about adding more RAM to the box? Think it can go up to 16GB.
4. Any other suggestions?
