Do you receive any errors in the log? We had the same problem and it
ended up being a problem with the retention on the tapes. If you set the
retention to 1 week it seems to keep them for two weeks. We had to start
manually expiring the tapes for the backup to work. Also you can adjust
the default seting for a 1 week retention and adjust it down to 4 or 5
days.

Have you done a manual backup against that particular policy within that
week? Change your frequency to 3 days or so....
