Rajeev:
I have not seen the CERT exams, so I do not know what they are asking. It has
been suggested by others that the book Dave Little and I have just recently
completed (available in June) would be a good resource for the NBU exams, but
again, I haven't seen the tests. Right now, this is the only "book" that uses
NetBackup in the examples. Another terrific resource is Veritas Education, the
course developers and instructors alike have worked very hard to develop a
quality course.
You may also find W. Curtis Preston's book, Unix Backup and Recovery, published
by O'Reilly to be an excellent general purpose resource book for Backup.
As far as Volume Manager...I don't know of a book yet published on that topic,
but I believe there is one in the works. However, I do know that VERITAS'
training is excellent. Many of the instructors are former Storage Admins who
share real life experiences which is very helpful.
