Not to overlook the obvious but are your "Overwrite" options set correctl=
y for this single environment? I learned once, in a similar fashion, that=
if I didn't set those up right, all my tapes end up frozen when NBU trie=
d to overwrite existing data and I didn't set the option to say it was OK.

Dennis

Hello All:

We have dozens of NB DC 3.4 environments and only see this
problem in one. From time to time (once or twice a week), all the
tapes in our library become frozen. We then have to unfreeze and
move back to scratch. We do not see any drive problems at the
time and we use different tapes sets but we continue to see the
problem.

Any ideas?

(Netbackup DataCenter 3.4 on Solaris 8 with an L700; 20 LTO
drives connected via 4 Crossroads Bridges)

Thanks.
