[Veritas-bu] NetApp CIFS backup

Hello
Yesterday I posted the following problem:
>> NBU 4.5 (MP3) on W2K, NetApp backed up via cifs share (no ndmp),
>> Last week at a customer site we migrated the data from one NetApp filer to
>> another with snapmirror (on qtree).

I found a workaround by doing an incremental NTBACKUP on that data. After that
Veritas behaves as it should, i.e. fullbackup writes everything to tape,
incremental backup only the changes.
I assume that NTBACKUP corrects/sets a bit in the cifs mounted filesystem that
NetBackup relies on to decide whether full or incremental has to be done.
Maybe somebody out there (Veritas?) has a clue or an explanation for thish
behaviour?
Thanks & regards
