Hi,
I'm using NB 4.5mp3 on Sun Solaris 5.8. A backup of several thousand files
has just completed after 5 days of running. Unfortunately the backup
retention level was too low. Re-running the backup is an option I would
like to avoid, and so I thought I could extend the expiration date. However
I'm running into problems with the syntax and I can't work out what I am
doing wrong. I hope one of you kind people can help.
One last fact, the client is also a media server.
The syntax I've been failing with is as follows:
Bpexpdate -recalculate -m media_id -host media_server -client client_name
-policy policy_name -ret 6 -M master_server.
I've tried combinations of client only, policy only and including/excluding
media and master server. All with the same helpful error message "invalid
syntax".
Any help would be appreciated.
