The only  problems I had with this upgrade were that the Windows admin
console didn't work to make changes to the vault schedules. Any change
that I made when I was in the Windows admin program had disastrous
effects. I.E., I would change anything on an incremental vault job abd
save it, the vault job on the server changed from copying incremental
backups to copying full backups. The only way I found out was that the
vault job took three times as long to finish and I statred looking at
what it was copying. 
When I used the admin console on the netbackup server itself,
everything worked fine. 
Vault is much easier to use in 4.5, unless you really like the command
line. It's easier to train our operators to use and monitor also.

Hello everyone,

I am looking to upgrade one of my master nbu servers next week.  The
system
is running on Solaris8 with NBU 3.4 patch nb34_4 and Vault 3.4 patch
0601.  

I am not expecting any issues with the main NBU upgrade, but am looking
for
some opinions/advice on upgrading the vault software.
