We've got a single Sun L3500 library, it's a rebranded ATL7100. The
firmware version reports as: 62400902.40.
The strange symptom is that when I use vmupdate to empty the mailslots
(vmupdate -empty_ie...), frequently, it'll kick the mailslot door open. It
doesn't happen every time, just occasionally.
The standard SCSI control commands (extend, retract, etc.) that control the
mailslot door report as either "not supported" or "not implemented" so there
seems to be no planned programmatic control of the mailslot.
Any ideas?
Master/Media Svr is Sun 2.6 with NB 3.4.
