[Veritas-bu] how to read tape label..........

The previous responses assume you know what slot the tape is in.... If you
do, then robtest is your tool.... Use it to load the tape, then use
vmoprcmd (AVR or TLD/TL8 mode for the drives, just not down) to view what
the recorded media id is.....

And when your done finding it's media id, then use 'vmoprcmd -reset <drive
index #>' to have the tape dismounted by the drive and robot.

If you don't know what slot it's in, start at slot 1 and go until N.
