Be aware, however, that vault itself is slow, and de-mux slows it down even

Oh, now, this is very cool.  Volatile environment keepers (like myself) would
find this to be a Big Win.

Thanks for pointing this out.  I had wondered about how this might be
accomplished for Disaster Recovery purposes.
