Officially, you can't change the pool of a tape with data on it. You'll
have to wait until it's images expire then change the pool names on the
empty tapes.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Volume Pools

We are adding 3 new server environments to be backed up by our existing NBU
3.4.1 master on Win2K. I am probably going to need to change the name of the
volume pools to keep various staging, production, etc volume pools separate
while still having a standard naming convention. Is there a way to rename
the existing polls names where all the volumes in that pool will stay in it
or do I have to create new volume pools and then manually move all the
volumes.

Any help would be appreciated.
