It seems you have a fairly fundamental network problem on this client.

The client is attempting to get the IP address of the incoming
connection so it can do a reverse DNS lookup and authenticate
it against the list of authorised servers. It uses the getsockname()
function to do this.

The 10038 number is a winsock error meaning the incoming
connection from the server is not a socket. This suggests a
low-level TCP/IP config or hardware issue.

Does this client show any other network-related problems ?
