Yes, and I'd count this as one of NetBackup's lesser and more readily
forgivable eccentricities.  Admittedly, that bit of the configuration
process is not intuitive at all.

I've found that the deeper I look into how NetBackup is organized, the
more I get the sense that the NetBackup server software is mostly held
together with rubber bands and old bits of shoestring.  I've not yet had
the chance to look at 4.5 to see the extent of their redesign; but I'm
hopeful.
