We have a dual P2-700 Dell server, win2k,  with scsi disks, and 2G of 
ram, and with norton antivirus running, I can see up to a 30% decrease 
in speed.  When we backup mapped drives, norton presents a 50% decrease 
in speed.  We're using this box to backup our netapp servers as a mapped 
drive. (cheaper than NDMP)
