Netbackup only allows you to specify two locations for backup. The only way
I have found around this is to label a number of tapes with the same label
and then its up to the admin to track those tapes.

I read the man page in the meantime. It's clear that I have to test it. I
already ran bpbackupdb in the past and there was no need to manuammy mount
a tape, the command does it for you. The only thing I'm not sure is whether
you can specify a media that is not one of the 2 configured media ids to be
used for catalog backups to tape. I will do some testing tomorrow.

Thanks,
Bruno

If you read the man page for it says you can give it
a tape device name and a media id. So you might need
to use a script to load a tape into a drive and then
run bpbackupdb. It's not clear if you can just give it
a tape drive device name and Media ID and have the
robot automatically mount the tape.
