You are right that System_State:\ doesn't work on NT4, but it has never
given me errors before.
Since I haven't changed anything and the backups run OK 3 days ago I don't
understand it.

System state is not known to Windows NT 4.0
System State was introduced in Windows 2000.

Is it failing on specific clients, for example, NT 4 clients?

My problem is that all NT4 and Win2K machines do have a System_State:\
The backups that fail today have been running without any change for a long
time.

John
Are you trying to backup a file/drive for a machine where the file or drives
for not exist?
For example, are you trying to backup an E: Partition for a machine that
does NOT have an E: Partition?

This morning a bunch of my backups har error 71 - none of the files in the
file list exist(71)
It's Win2K and NT4 machines and all errors are on the System_State:\

I don't have any other errors (at least I have found) and running the
backups again gives the same error.

Backup of normal drives on the machines that fail System_State:\ work
without any problem.

NBU version 4.5 Master/media on Win2K server

Can anyone help me?

/johnny
