if you want to use netbackup commands instead of looking directly into the *.f
file, look at the bplist command.

you can get a list of images from a given tape by doing
bpimmedia -ev <MEDIA_ID>
and using those you can get the list of files out of
/usr/openv/netbackup/db/images/<client>/<dir>/<class>_<imagenum>_<type>.f
