Hi all the group:
I have a big problem involving NetBackup Datacenter 3.41GA and backing-up
EMC Symmetrix BVC's with the Veritas FlashBackup add-on (and Veritas Volume
Manager too, of course) in order to minimize the amount of time needed to
backup all our e-mail data as a ISP that we are (4-5 Tbyte total).
The problem is I always get a 'FATAL exit status = 130: system error
ocurred" after receiving another warning "dev/vx/rdsk/dirdg/rbsvol is a
character special file"
Sometimes, instead receiving "status = 130" I receive this another error:
"FATAL exit status = 20: invalid command parameter"
Some of you have faced with this problem or something similar? It's an issue
concerning FlashBackup or maybe it's not possible having this
"state-of-the-art" combination of FlashBackup + VxVM + Symmetrix + BCVs?
Any help will be welcome!
PD: I tried changing the name of the logical volumes and assuring no special
characters appear (only alphanumerical ones) but that doesn't solve the
problem
