Yes, this is how I do backups at home. Two drives, one is always
loaded with an empty tape. With DO_NOT_EJECT_STANDALONE in vm.conf,
the tapes stay mounted until full. When I see one drive eject, I add
new empty tape. I use the same retention for everything.
This works fine because I never have more than two tapes to backup at
once. NBU will choose the empty media since it's already mounted.
