Somehow we've got a number of jobs that show "Active" in the NetBackup
administrator, but they aren't really running any more and can't be cancelled
or deleted. Apparently the process died (the PID associated with the job no
longer exists). With NetBackup 3.4, we could clean these up by removing the
files from the \DB\Jobs directory. Is there an equivalent way to do this with
NetBackup 4.5? The only way I've found to clean them up so far is to reboot
the machine, which is a pain.
If it matters, this is on a Windows 2000 master server.
Thanks,
-Michael
