Make sure it has to output to STDOUT.  That makes unpredicatable things
happen.
 
Also make sure that the class suffix is an exact case match to your class,
the name is case-sensitive.
 
Be sure it's in /usr/openv/netbackup/bin and is set for executable for root.
 
Test the class suffix by renaming to bpstart_notify and see if it starts to
work - if it does you have a classname matching problem.

Hello all, 

I created a bpstart_notify.<classA> script that appears to be not being run
by NetBackup.  When I run the contents of the bpstart script itself - it
works.  However, when I try to manually do a backup via NetBackup, it does
not appear to run the bpstart script at all.  I'm running NetBackup 4.5 on
Solaris server and client.  I have another bpstart_notify.<classB> script
that seems to be working okay.  Any pointers on would be helpful.
